Medical Intervention
_
This Unit plays a crucial role in the intervention process. The Pediatric Neurologist reviews the medical history of the child, assesses his/her current medical and physical conditions and makes a clear diagnosis, which the team relies on when setting the intervention plan.
In addition, the medical visits allows the physician to monitor the health problems that can affect the child’s development during therapy. Continuous and close collaboration with the team also allows the physician to follow up any progress or regression the child may face and act accordingly.
