Psychological follow-up or psychological intervention
ECIL Center is keen to provide psychological support and treatment to families, including parents and children, as the child is part of the family, and psychological stability for all family members is an essential part of the child’s development. Therefore, ECIL Center provides full support to parents by accompanying, guiding and supporting them when needed, whether through individual or group sessions. In addition, the center assesses and improves the psychological state of the child and his family in coordination with therapists, through observation and participation in therapeutic sessions and meetings. The cooperation of therapists helps to exchange the behavioral treatment plan that parents are working on with the psychologist with the rest of the team, where skills are unified among everyone to facilitate their generalization in the child. This department offers several types of treatments according to diagnosis and discussion, the most important of which are acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and communication relational program. ECIL Center also provides an interactive child-parent therapy service, which aims to improve the quality of the parent-child relationship by teaching parents interaction skills.
