Futuring

The Early Childhood Intervention-Lebanon (ECIL)  was initiated in June 2011. It strives to improve children’s wellbeing in Lebanon through enhancing their educational, physical and psychological conditions during their development. ECIL embraces Imam Moussa Al-Sadr’s belief in equal opportunities for all community components.

Vision 

We strive for a community that ensures equal opportunities for children and families with different capacities.

Mission

To aid every child of the community reach their maximum potential through ensuring their inclusion and integration in it and providing evidence-based practices and quality services to every child and family in Lebanon and the region.

Objectives

By the end of 2025, Early Childhood Intervention-Lebanon (ECIL) Center will become a role model in Lebanon through the integration and growth of the programs and services though two objectives:

• Enabling the child to reach his full potential in a positive interactive relationship with his family

• Promoting early intervention in Lebanon and the Arab world

  • Integrity & reliability: We are committed to referring to science and evidence-based practices in delivering and designing our tools, content and services,

  • Wholeness & inclusiveness: We target the society as a whole and include all society components. We also design our programs and activities to implement all aspects of social integration including children, families and professionals,
  • Equality & equity: We give children, families and professionals equal access to our services. This is based on our belief that we complement each other.
  • Respect of dignity: We believe that all humans have an equal right of better living. Our programs and activities empower the capabilities of parents and professionals in alliance with improving children’s competences.
